Dog - And Cat! - Days of Summer
A smiling, happy King Busch Gardens summer season is finally at an end! We now only do performances of Pet Shenanigans on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, and we spend the remainder of the week tending to the animals.

It was a challenging season: 3 months. 36 shows a week. 9 - 10 hour days. 110° temperatures. Good audiences. Bad audiences. Scooping poop. Changing kitty litter. Dogs. Cats. Rats. Parrots. Pigeons. Pigs. Ducks. Feeding. Cleaning. Training. Chasing. Performing.

David encourages Boo as she lifts weights At times, it was almost overwhelming. Sarah and I returned to our apartment exhausted every night. But the time with the animals and their accomplishments made for a memorable and unforgettable experience.
