Employee of the Month
The Busch Gardens Entertainment Department recently honored me as Employee of the Month! I was very flattered and very proud.

Employee

of the Month Certificate I always strive to be the best I can be: as a performer, as an animal trainer, as a co-worker, as an employee and as a considerate, respectful human being. Although not necessary, it was nice to have my efforts noticed and rewarded.

My stage manager, Dan, nominated me, and the Entertainment Department voted. I received the appreciation of the Entertainment Department, $50 in Busch Bucks to spend in the park, and a very nice certificate. The certificate read:

Congratulations to DAVID SOLOVE, our August 06 Employee of the Month. David has been working at Busch Gardens since March of 2006 as our Performer and Dog Trainer for Land of the Dragons "Friends Forever" show.

David displays a professional attitude both on and off stage. He is always early to work, friendly with guests and employees and is very consistent with his performances. David is constantly working in-between shows on new dog behaviors in order to improve the quality of the show. As the behaviors are approved, he eagerly works with the Creative Staff to add them to the script and/or show. He takes the initiative to assist in breakroom duties in the absence of the SM [Stage Manager] and offers his assistance in other matters that do not necessarily fall under his responsibilities.

David will make himself available for coverage if the days off need to be changed for any particular reason, and most notably, David has not been absent ANY days since his hire in March of 06. He is self-motivated and is an excellent role model for the next Employee of the Month!
Congratulations to David on many jobs well done!
Keep up the good work!

Elaine M. College - VP of Entertainment

The rewards and certificate were very nice to receive, but the best part of all was just simply being noticed for what I strive to do and achieve each and every day.
