My Aunt Jill also came to visit along with her husband and kids. It was practically a family reunion! And the best place for us all to get together and spend quality time with each other? Where else?
Walt Disney World!

I'd been to Walt Disney World before with my parents, and I'd been to Walt Disney World before with my niece Becca and her parents, but I'd never been to Disney World before with my whole family together, and what a treat it was!

Over the course of several days, we visited all of the Disney parks: The Magic Kingdom, Disney/MGM, Epcot and the Animal Kingdom. The parks were very busy with tourists visiting for the holidays, but the crowds didn't keep us from enjoying ourselves and each other.

Even the cold, grey weather didn't keep us from having a good time together... well, cold for Florida. It was an improvement over the sub-zero, snowy Ohio weather that my family had left behind.

I've been to Walt Disney World so many times... more times than I can count. Seeing the Disney parks through my nieces' eyes makes it all new and magical again. Becca loves to collect autographs from the Disney characters. Her excitement at seeing Mickey Mouse far surpasses my own excitement at seeing him (and I get pretty excited seeing him).

I get to see my family so rarely, I really appreciated getting to spend so much time with them... especially my nieces, whom I adore. It filled my heart with joy to walk through the Disney parks hand-in-hand with Abby, or to give Becca a ride on my shoulders.
