A Day At Virginia Beach
Together at Virginia Beach Sarah and I had one last day off together before Busch Gardens went to daily operation, and we spent it at Virginia Beach.

It was nice to get away for a day and have some time together.

Barefoot on the beach It was a very relaxing day. We had no specific plans other than just spending time with each other. The weather was still on the cool side, but it didn't keep us from walking barefoot along the beach. The view of the ocean was magnificent and peaceful.

Searching for shells We just strolled casually along the beach with no where in particular to be, enjoying the scenery and each other's company. We'd occasionally stop to examine a shell in the sand.

The Ocean Seagull
Lobster Head! We also had fun exploring the cheap, touristy shops along the beach. We found Playing skeeball an arcade and had a good time playing games together. Skeeball is Sarah's favorite arcade game!
Reading on the beach We eventually settled onto a towel on the beach. We sat there and read for awhile. The sound of the ocean waves crashing in the background was very soothing, and eventually, I could no longer keep my eyes open.

Asleep on the beach I fell sound asleep on the beach. It was a deep, restful sleep from which I found it very difficult to wake up. Relaxing on the beach The ocean air was so calming and we had been working so hard for so long, it felt so good to just succumb to the tiredness.

It was a wonderful, peaceful, relaxing day, and it was a treat to spend some quality time with Sarah.
